Just chiming in here. And mumbing and yammering away. Bear with me. I'm a little tired :XD:
I think having thoughts being poured into a journal entry can be a better way to give a more long winded thought sometimes instead of status updates, since the latter seems to be capable of only doing so much.
So, I'm just thinking lately about a lot of artists online?
I haven't logged into dA in some time and I'm following a TONNE of artists and they're all very very good but one thing that bothers me a lot is that its just impossible to keep on top of all of them. There's so much work being submitted constantly its kind of hard to keep up w
Eclipse Update imma be real here
I actually kind of like the new eclipse update? I think, though, having the classic green look as a third layout scheme would work as a nice middleground between the light and the dark themes. Both of them kind of have a harsh look on them and they kind of hurt the eyes imo. Still, its a solid overall design I think. Just needs a bit more work. I think having the images a little less cluttered, smaller and a filter for..."certain", kinds of art would be nice. I think the algorithms are confused at times and might have too much reign over what they think is best, which is a bit of an issue for new time users that might decide to sign up for the site. I think I also kind of like how the text submission sections kind of having a sleek sort of 'bloggin' feel about them that is reminiscent of Livejournal and dA back in the late 2000's and early 2010s. Real coolio :dummy: I think there's a lot of potential here imo It'd be nice to have hobbyists and serveral variants of other artists
Wayward thoughts
Damm, the whole internet is going bonkers over the Tumblr stuff atm. Anyone hearing about it right now? NSFW blogs and even stuff that isn't is just getting pulled from the site right now. Apparently it seems to be over a fiasco with Apple pulling the app from the IOS store over its content, which is odd, considering Snapchat, Tinder and Reddit are available on the thing.

I used to hang around there at one point in time and allocated far too many of years on it (for no good reason) and its scary thinking about all that time just gone from the place. Wasted hours just gone..
I mainly left after finding it exasperating

What the hell is all this weird ass porn suddenly coming from? Theres so much of it showing up in the last while and its super off-putting o_o;
Seems to be in the last several weeks and I really want to know why..?
I'm literally filtering it out with a plugin just to get rid of it all but theres so much "fresh" work being made and users that its
just flowing in without any kind of filter whatsoever. Its like dA left open their defenses and just gave the go-ahead for all these depraved sods
to show off what they beat off to, which is extremely offputting.
Dammit dA.
